Alien Design Contest in July

July is shaping up to be contest month here at STDL--and this one takes a little imagination and creativity! To go along with our sci-fi theme this summer, show your artistic side during our Alien Design Contest! Design an out of this world creature for a chance to win a gift certificate to area book and art supply stores. Forms with rules will be available at the Central library Reader Services desk or at the branch libraries. Winners will be judged by anime artist Shannon Townsend and will be displayed in the library during Teen Appreciation Week Aug. 12 – 18.
